What these pages are

Each city page counts the days NOAA recorded hail near that city, shows the last five years and the most recent hail days, and has a roof-size calculator and a note on insurance claim windows. Bigger and more populated places collect more reports, because a report needs someone to see the hail; the methodology explains how we count and what the records can't tell you.

HailAlmanac is an independent publisher of public storm records, not a roofer or an insurer.
